Callixto Style: Matchy Matchy
Remember your grandmother and how her shoes and bags always matched? Remember her twin sets? Well the time has come to embrace the matchy matchy look again. More and more I have seen matching tops and bottoms for sale and I finally decided to take the plunge. I bought this outfit in Bangkok at the Platinum Mall and it cost me all of $30. Not to be outdone by my clothes, I matched the jewellery as well. Matching earrings and ring. Why not? The olive leaves earrings and rings will be all online later today. Stay tuned. If you want to see it all live, head to Edit on 67 Hollywood Road.

Jewellery Inspirations: Animals
For me the most iconic Cartier design has always been their Panther. In any shape or form, whether as a ring, earring or necklace the Panther has withstood the test of time. I have been trawling the net recently looking for other jewellery inspired by animals and I have to say there is some great stuff out there. I am thinking the giraffe might be my new favorite animal.

Jewellery: Mettle /Fair Trade
I absolutely love the Mettle lookbook. Reminds me of the The 5th Element. Who didn’t love Leeloo? ”Me supreme being, me protect you.”
Callixto Collection: Java
A new collection has arrived and we feel like Christmas came early. I spent yesterday taking pictures of all the new goodies using my coffee books as backgrounds. The pictures came out beautifully! Come check out the amazing new pieces at our pop-up next week! They will also be online in two weeks time…
Callixto Style: Flowers and Skulls
I spent my first Halloween in New York a couple of weeks ago. I love a good fancy dress party as much as the next person, but man, the Americans take it to another level. I went costume shopping in NYC, and I have been to nightclubs that had less people then some of these costume shops. We ended up going dressed as Dia de los Muertos and ever since then I have been all about the Frida Kahlo look (minus the unibrow). I will post pictures of our Halloween costume in the next post.
